My Story

Tony Michael Watcher SUMTER -Tony Michael Watcher, 45, husband of Elizabeth Johnson Watcher, died Friday, October 14, 2005, at home. Born in Saitama Kem, Japan, he was a son of Pete Watcher and Betty Uller Watcher. Mr. Watcher was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Sumter High School and The Citadel Class of 1982. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was a former Little League Baseball Coach and was the sales manager of Filter Sales and Service. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; his parents of Sumter; four sons, Andrew Watcher, Joseph Watcher, Philip Watcher, and Jacob Watcher all of Sumter; a daughter, Katey Watcher of Sumter; two brothers, Mike Watcher of Sumter and Rob Watcher of Louisiana; three sisters, Mary Swain of Greenville, Ann Blum of Charlotte, N.C. and Amy Manweiler of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
